I guess you kind of just go through life with your eyes closed, for the most part. Things happen and at the moment you think they really mean something, but in the end they don't have too much of an impact on your life. Few people are born that go on to accomplish great things, which is a shame because we all have that in us. I wish I could say that my life is going to be something great, something to remember and put down in a book, but it isn't. I live the same way the person down the street does, though the obvious difference of being another person. How many people go through year after year of thinking that they're going to become something?; that they'll somehow escape the prison they think they live in. I wonder if the time has come to just sit down and wait for the end, but not in that morbid "wait to die" way. I wonder if the time has come where I am supposed to be settling with my life, since that's what the majority of people do, and I am in no way the minority...I wish my life would go and be great, but I doubt it's happening at all. Then you realize how many people you've managed to meet in your however many years of life. How many of those people affected your life? I mean, we all like to think that we're affected by everyone we meet and talk to, and that we do the same for them...but is it really true? Is that person I met at Publix somehow going to change my life? I highly doubt it, unless for some reason the plastic bag he put my goods in will one day save my life. However, we do have those few people that will in fact, affect us. The first love of your life...you're best friend...the first time you felt you're feelings totally unrequited. I guess I'm just a very confused kid. Just a kid.
